OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 March 2008 was announced, that a fire tactical training exercises aimed at hypothetical fire suppression at the reservoir of 50 000 cubic meters capacity have been held at the JSC “Privolzhsknefteprovod” “Samara-2” oil pumping station.

The training has been attended by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia (MES), Privolzhsky-Ural regional center, management for the divisions of state fire emergency services of MES for Samara region, fire departments of the local territories and regional oil and gas complex enterprises and members of volunteer fire brigades.

The training showed a high level of coordination of fire departments of all kinds and types of ownership in relation to timely fire isolation and suppression at the oil transporting units and the efficient use of the specialized techniques and ensuring of oil storage and transportation unit core functions.
