OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 March 2008 was announced, that ammonium nitrate production of Ukraine’s fertilizers increased by 20.6% m/m in January or 36.2% y/y to 295,400 tonnes. Stirol increased ammonium nitrate output by 22.3% m/m. The industry’s ammonia production increased by 4.1% m/m, but dropped 0.9% y/y to 487,200 tonnes. But STIR increased ammonia production in January by an impressive 18.4% m/m. The industry’s urea production increased in January by 4.7% m/m or 2.3% y/y to 318,100 tonnes. STIR increased its output by an impressive 14.6% m/m.
