OREANDA-NEWS. On February 29, 2008 V.F. Bok, Mining District Governor and the member of Sverdlovsk Region Government, forwarded a Letter of Thanks to V.V. Tetyukhin, Director General of VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation. Mr. Bok is genuinely grateful to Mr. Tetyukhin for the Corporation charitable activity in the year of 2007, reported the press-centre of VSMPO-AVISMA.

According to the Letter, VSMPO-AVISMA’s help and care of people, attention to veterans and youths is a significant contribution to development of social sphere of Verkhnaya Salda Urban District.

Significant amount of money is annually allotted by VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation for social programs and charitable activity.

In 2007 VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation continued implementation of such projects as “We need all children” (compassionate allowance for impecunious children feeding), “Support of Socially Significant Institutions and Social Organizations”. Monetary assets were forwarded to Charity Fund, military state-financed organizations, Spaso-Preobrazhenski Monastery of Murom city, town infant school, police office, the club of the art of self-defence. In addition, monetary assets were foreseen for Verkhnaya Salda municipal improvement and for feeding of vocational school pupils during their traineeship at VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.

VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation took part in such program as “Future potential of the Town, Ural, Russia” and rendered assistance to Cadet Residential School “The Cape of Good Hope“, to Cadet School “Young rescuers of Ministry of Emergencies”, implemented a joint project with municipal educational system “Development of mechanic labor skills of schoolchildren”.

In 2008 VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will go on with its charitable activity. V.F. Bok hopes that the Corporation’s charitable activity in 2008 will be as effective and useful as it was the year before.
