Increase of a role of insurance and insurance culture among the population.

Summarizing of activity of the Company for 2007 and achievement of forecast indicators.

Representation of insurance services in sphere of business insurance.

The briefing has been opened by salutatory speech of the General Director of the Company F.Saidahmedov, which in the speech has commented on results of 2007 year, also has noted strategic directions of the Company in 2008, which envisages following problems: the further strategy of growth and advancement of export-import insurance, strengthening of market positions in spheres of private and corporate insurance, insurance of SME subjects.

Within the limits of the declared 2008 "Year of Youth", presentation of General Director of "O`zbekinvest Hayot" K.Abdurahimova on long-term accumulative forms of insurance was presented. This company was the first which has started to render life insurance services in the domestic market. With a view of increase of financial stability of the company and its solvency in the conditions of acceptance of long-term obligations in 2007, capital of "O`zbekinvest Hayot" was increased in 3 times and comprised 1,5 billion soums. As a whole "O`zbekinvest Hayot" offers the extensive choice of products on life insurance and population health, and also the program on development and introduction of long-term accumulative products of insurance on the educational purposes, wedding, attainment of majority and etc. are systematically realised. It should be noticed, that within the limits of the measures which are carried out with a view of stimulation of development of the market of insurance services, the Decision of President RUz №PD-618 dated 10.04.2007 "Measures on the further reforming and development of the market of insurance services" was accepted, according to which insurance awards on long-term insurance are not taxed, that also noted in Tax code of RUz (Item 28 Art. 179).

At a briefing the special attention has been given to Company’s activity on representation of insurance services in sphere of insurance of SME subjects, with the information about which the manager of Department of development of insurance services U.Nurmatov has acted. It is known that one of the major directions of economy and the driving mechanism of lead social and economic reforms of Uzbekistan are - development of SME sphere. And insurers actively develop now insurance of enterprise activity. Incitement and expansion of activity in sphere of insurance of business is one of the major priorities of strategic development of the Company in 2008. In this connection, the company plans working out and introduction of such types of service, as: insurance against bankruptcy, insurance against profit loss, insurance against a legal cost, thus is supposed to give an individual approach to each client taking into account specificity of their activity.

During a briefing marketing action "The thousandth client" has been summed up, lead by Company among clients in 2007 - physical persons, in this connection, solemn delivery of valuable prizes to winners of draw has taken place.
