OREANDA-NEWS. On February 28, 2008 President Victor Yushchenko met with European Bank of Reconstruction and Development President Jean Lemierre, reported the Official website www.president.gov.ua.

Sides discussed cooperation between Ukraine and EBRD, first of all preparation to the EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum, scheduled to take place on May 18 and 19 2008 in Kiev.

During the meeting Jean Lemierre and Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan signed the Loan Agreement on the 750 kV Rivne NPP – Kyiv transmission line Project.

Other participants of the meeting were Minister of Finance Viktor Pynzenyk, First deputy Chief of Staff of the Secretariat Oleksandr Shlapak, Director of the EBRD from Ukraine Igor Podoliev, Head of the EBRD Annual Meeting Organization Committee in Kiev Leonid Kozachenko.
