OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 February 2008 was announced, that the CP Group signed an agreement with the Endeavor talent-seeking agency, which will represent the Group’s interests in Northern America. Pursuant to the agreement, Endeavor will act as an agent for selling rights for the films made by Central Partnership and organizing co-productions with the US majors. Should film shooting by Endeavor clients take place in Russia, the CP Group shall be entitled to have the priority right to become their partner. The agreement also provides for Endeavor to represent Russian film directors working with the CP Group in the Western countries.

The Russian movie company obtains the priority right to act as a co-producer of new projects by these directors and their distributor in Russia.

First such contract was signed by Endeavor with Anna Melikian, whose film “The Mermaid” was awarded a prize for best director’s work at Sundance and opens the Panorama program at the Berlin Cinema Festival.

Endeavor is the fifth largest “talent agency” in Northern America. Its clients include actors Matt Damon, Kyra Nightly, Vigo Mortensen, directors Guillermo del Toro, Martin Scorcese, Robert Rodriguez, and many others.
