OREANDA-NEWS. On February 27, 2008 a team of the Korean businessmen (representatives of 12 various companies) arrived in Gomel. The main goal of the visit is to establish contacts and set up joint ventures in the Belarusian region.

A contact and cooperation exchange has become the main event of the programme. More than 80 companies and organizations of the Gomel oblast took part in negotiations with representatives of the Korean business.

The sides discussed an opportunity to set up a network to sell Korean goods in the region as well as the launching joint facilities to produce construction materials, heating equipment, industrial electric batteries, uninterruptible power supplies, plumbing equipment and DVDs.
