OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2008. Having declared the course for wide international co-operation Turkmenistan today is in the spotlight to the international business circles. The project on establishment of the Avaza national tourism zone on the Caspian Sea coast is among the large-scale projects implemented in our country of intense interest to the world’s large companies. The world mass media and popular foreign TV channels run the video advertising clips about the future international sea resort. And the French racing drivers participating in the Monte Carlo Rally, which is held in the very heart of Europe, advertised this project. Their car decorated with the national symbols of Turkmenistan and advertisements of the Avaza national tourist zone was of particular interest to numerous fans of the most popular car racing in Europe. The pilot of the French crew Loran Carbonaro, who is in Ashgabat now, told in the interview:

“First, we would like to thank President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, who permitted to decorate our car with the national symbols of Turkmenistan. We consider it an honour to represent such a country as Turkmenistan, which is rapidly developing and taking the leading positions in the world.

“The internet addresses of the sites providing the information about Turkmenistan are depictured on both sides of our car, which are stylized as the Turkmen flag. The word “Avaza” decorates the front bumper and the windshield and spoiler are adorned with the pictures of the state emblem and the word “Turkmenistan”. Our uniform is also decorated with the national symbols of Turkmenistan.

“We visited the Avaza national tourism zone. The large-scale construction sites amazed us! I’m sure such a large-scale project will be a success and hope we have contributed to it. I think this extraordinary advertisement will help the people in Europe to get more information about Turkmenistan and encourage them to visit this tourist ‘pearl’ on the Caspian Sea coast.

“I have already been Turkmenistan and was amazed with the great number of beautiful architectural ensembles. Though, the most amazing thing is the people of Turkmenistan. They are very hospitable, well-wishing and open for communication. We have the very good relations. And every time I visit Turkmenistan I do it with great pleasure.

“Speaking about our future plans, my colleagues are preparing the second car that will be decorated with the national symbols of Turkmenistan and the information about Avaza and will take part in the future car racing.”
