OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 February 2008 was announced, that the best engineers, scientists and teachers of the state higher educational centers of the Lipetsk area received monetary premiums and diplomas for the victory in the annual competition organized by the industry management of the Lipetsk area. Among winners are experts of JSC Lipetskenergo (is a part of IDGC of Centre) - Deputy Chief Engineer - Chief of Operations/Process Service of the Elets Electric Networks Evgeny Tolstykh and Chief of the Relay Protection and Automatics Service of Lipetsk Electric Networks Andrey Vnukov.

Deputies Head of the Administration of the Lipetsk area Lyudmila Kurakova and Aleksandr Korobeinikov, and Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Aleksandr Nikonov congratulated the winners of the competition "Engineer of Year 2007" including 10 young and 14 professional engineers, three development engineers.

According to Aleksandr Korobeinikov, great attention is paid to issues of innovative development introduction in manufacture in the Lipetsk area.

As explained by Andrey Vnukov, Chief of Relay Protection and Automatics Service of the Lipetsk Electric Networks of JSC Lipetskenergo, participation and victory in the competition is a significant event in his professional career. This is what he shall be proud of. Besides, a dialogue with leading engineers of the regional enterprises was very useful; similar competitions helped talented engineers to share knowledge and experience obtained in practice.

Let us remind that the competition "Engineer of Year" is held within the limits of a target program realization called "Development and Use of Scientific, Technical and Innovative Potential of the Lipetsk Area (2005-2010)".
