OREANDA-NEWS. February 26, 2008. An Estonian company, Daria Invest, is interested in promoting investments projects in Moldova, especially in the production area.

The head of the company, Arles Liiv, gave assurances to this affect at a today's meeting with Premier Vasile Tarlev, according to the government's press service.

Arles Liiv, on visit to Chisinau leading a group of Estonian investors, appreciated the attractive investment climate created in Moldova, which gives possibility to develop successful business.

Vasile Tarlev emphasized that the government is busy with the implementation of the European standards in all the activity fields and the creation of an adequate legislation for business people. At the same time, the prime minister said that Moldova became very attractive for investors, first of all due to its geographical position - between the Commonwealth of Independent States and the European Union (EU), as well as due to the efficient economic policies which have been promoted over the last year, including the launch of initiatives on liberalising the economy, getting the Agreement on Asymmetric Trade with the EU etc.

The prime minister stressed that the government is open for cooperation with the business people from any country, and will back all the constructive initiatives.

Daria Invest is a branch of the Delta Investment Grup company, which is known for its investments in diverse sectors of the economy in such states as Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Norway, Sweden etc.
