Presently, the capacity of unit 2 is being raised. According to the schedule, at 4:00 PM unit 2 will be working at full capacity.

The stoppage posed no threat to Kursk NPP or the nearby area. Presently, Kursk NPP is operating safely.

Units 1, 2 and 4 are in service. Unit 3 is being overhauled.

The radiation background at Kursk NPP and in the nearby area is within norm.
