OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 February 2008 was announced, that on 8–10 February, the aviation company flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines participated in the international tourism exhibition Balttour 2008. The 15th exhibition held in Riga was attended by representatives of the tourism business from 32 countries. The centrally located display of the Lithuanian national aviation company drew the attention of many visitors.

At the exhibition Balttour 2008, representatives of the company flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines presented summer season flight news and special offers for travellers from Riga to tour organisers, representatives of tourist agencies, representatives of hotels and other hospitality businesses, and visitors. They also supplied information about direct and connecting flights, explained the possibilities and advantages of purchasing tickets on the internet, and answered questions. It was possible to purchase flight tickets at the exhibition and some visitors used this opportunity. Many valuable business contacts were established with companies and organisations.
