OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 February 2008 was announced, that Bratsk branch of Ilim Group completed the second compliance audit of its supply chain management system in accordance with the requirements of Forest Stewardship Council. The audit was based on the new FSC standards CTD 40-004 (2).

The audit was carried out by EuroPartner specialists with the help of traditional methods such as supply chain documentation examination, key personnel interviews and inspection of production facilities. The route that the auditors took round the company’s facilities included all the key points from FSC procurement of mixed raw wood to the certified end products.

During their final meeting with the branch’s management, the auditors especially stressed the high level of the company’s specialists professionalism. They also noted that the procedure manual is specified in detail and meets all the standard’s requirements. No incorfomities with the FSC requirements were found as a result of the audit.
