OREANDA-NEWS. February 25, 2008. As was informed by the Bank’s press service with reference to data of the Ukrainian National Mortgage Association (UNIA).

Ukrsotsbank entered the TOP-3 leading banks of the mortgage market in the follow up of 2007. Ukrsotsbank market share made 13% in the follow up of 2007 that corresponds to the third position in the Ukrainian banks rating. The share of mortgage in the Ukrsotsbank loan portfolio of individuals traditionally makes about 70%.

According to the UNIA data, the total mortgage portfolio of the banks reached UAH 57,2 billion or 9% of GDP on an indicative assessment as of 1.01.2008.

The share of mortgage loans in the total loan portfolio increased from 11,1% to 12,4%, while the volume of mortgage loans to individuals makes more than a third - 36,8%.

In 2008, UNIA experts predict growth of the mortgage crediting by 60% from the level in 2007.
