OREANDA-NEWS. February 26, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) has inquired information from the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation (MinJust Russia) and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation (MinTrans Russia) on the draft Order of MinTrans Russia, approving the Regulations "On the access of duly licensed carriers to international air transportation of passengers and (or) cargo", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The inquiry has been made as some media disseminated information that MinTrans Russia has already prepared and forwarded the draft Order for registration by the MinJust Russia.

Analysis of a version of the draft Order of MinTrans Russia, approving the Regulations "On the access of duly licensed carriers to international air transportation of passengers and (or) cargo", received by FAS Russia, shows that some its provisions can be in breach of the antimonopoly legislation.
