OREANDA-NEWS. February 26, 2008.  In accordance with the oil and gas industry development programme and with the view to implement the provisions of the General Agreement on the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline and natural gas supply of April 3, 2006 concluded between the Government of Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China the President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Turkmengaz State Concern to conclude the contract for building the 188-km Malay-Bagtyyarlik gas pipeline 1,420 mm in diameter across the Amu Darya River and construction of a gas treating and dewatering unit and a gas-measuring unit amounted to 395.445,610 euro (with VAT) with the Stroytransgaz JSC (the Russian Federation).
