OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2008. Now the passengers of S7 Airlines can buy tickets for any Emirates flight, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

S7 Airlines, the largest domestic Russian airlinein terms of volume of transferred passengers, and Emirates, one of the leading world airlines, concluded a bilateral interline agreement, which allows to transport passengers with the tickets of the partner-airline. Therefore, having S7 Airlines tickets, one can travel on Emirates flights and vice versa.

Besides, transit passengers who change from S7 Airlines flight to Emirates flight and vice versa, do not have to buy two separate tickets now. According to this agreement it is possible to issue one ticket for the whole trip. Passengers can use a through luggage transport service and claim their luggage at the point of their destination without transitional registration.

"This agreement allows us to provide our passengers with additional convenience and saves time. In the near future our passengers will be able to take advantage of attractive tariffs, - said the commercial director of S7 Group Vadim Besperstov. – We are carrying out negotiations with Emirates on the conclusion of an additional prorate agreement *, which will give the opportunity to buy interline tickets at discounted tariffs".

Currently S7 Airlines has over 60 interline agreements with the world’s leading airlines, such as Lufthansa, British Airways, Korean Air, Air China, Qantas Airways, Delta, Thai Airways, Iberia and others.

Emirates is the largest international airline of the United Arab Emirates, completing flights from to Dubai to over 100 cities in 62 countries. The air fleet of the company numbers 113 airplanes. In 2005 Emirates announced the largest order for Boeing-777 – 42 airliners. In August 2008 the airline will receive 55 two-decked super giants Airbus А380.
