OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2008 At the 4th International Specialized Exhibition RosAviaExpo-2008 the Commercial Director of the JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” Mr.Alexey Sidorov and Commercial Director of the State Transport Company (STC) “Rossia” Mr.Igor Morachev have signed a code sharing agreement on principle of free sales of seats for the contracted flights, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

Signing of this agreement, coming in force on February 11th, will become a new stage in the development of commercial collaboration between the airlines. Upon the agreements the partners will be able to sell the air services of each other’s flights using own codes without limitations on the amount of the seats. Under the terms of the Agreement the partners will offer international and internal flights in the following directions: Moscow – destinations in Germany – Moscow; St-Petersburg – destinations in Germany – St-Petersburg; Moscow – Baku – Moscow; Moscow – St-Petersburg – Moscow. Mutual work within the frame of the Agreement will significantly enlarge the offers of Aeroflot and STC “Rossia” to sell under own code and widen the passenger’s choice of the convenient route and flight.

Within the limits of the signed Agreement the partners are planning to broaden the collaboration in other routes as well.

Aeroflot has agreements to organize mutual transportation with 29 companies – subsidiaries “Aeroflot-Don” and “Aeroflot-Nord”, as well as Dalavia, Vladivostokavia, Tatarstan, Belavia and many other foreign carriers.
