Gas-Powered KAMAZ Vehicles Assembly Started
OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2008. The only Russian service center for repair and maintenance of automotive equipment with gas engines, which was opened in RariTEK Ltd. in September 2007, started to mount gas engines on heavy-duty KAMAZ vehicles.
Gas engines were formerly mounted mainly on NEFAZ buses on the basis of KAMAZ chassis, and gas-powered trucks were only custom-made.
RariTEK has the opportunity to produce up to 7 KAMAZ vehicles a day with a capacity expansion in prospect. Vehicles and power units are provided by KAMAZ. RariTEK assembles the end product buying other outsourced components.
