OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2008.  JSC Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant (ZMP, ESTAR Group) smelted 53,983 t of steel (102% on the year-on-year basis) in January, 2008. Roll production amounted to 40,729 t (a 6.6% increase as compared to a similar period last year). 40,000 t of products (107.5% on the year-on-year basis) was shipped to the consumers.

Product mix continues to change towards quick-cutting and high-alloy steed grades. Production of calibrated steel increases: in January 1,220 t of calibrated steel (a 11.5% increase as compared to December) were shipped. Seasonal demand for stainless steel was marked. Its December shipments were 1,032 t, in January – 1,135 t; orders for February amount to 1,300 t.
