OREANDA-NEWS. On February 19, 2008 as was informed by NBM, the stock of credits in the national currency grew by 3259,9 million leis, or 38,3% - up to 11768,9 million leis amounting to 56,4% of the total.

In 2007, volume of credits, provided in MDL, increased by 41,8% and totalled 14515,2 million leis. Stock of credits in foreign currency grew by $397,8 million or 73,3%, amounting to $805,3 million.

In 2007, volume of credits provided in foreign currency totalled 11971,8 million leis, increasing by 88,4% in comparison with the previous year. Volume of credits, expressed in USD, increased by $502,6 million or doubled- up to $986,5 million.
