OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) granted a petition of "WEST SIBERIAN RESOURCES LIMITED" on purchasing 100% voting shares of the "Alliance" Oil Company" OJSC, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The "Alliance" Oil Company" OJSC comprises, in particular: Khabarovsk Oil Refinery and distribution companies that own a network of petrol stations and petroleum storage depots "AMURNEFTEPRODUCT" OJSC, "PROMORNEFTEPRODUCT" OJSC, and "KHABAROVSKNEFTEPRODUCT" OJSC.

"WEST SIBERIAN RESOURCES LIMITED" owns several oil production companies in the Russian Federation.

At the same time, to prevent the distribution companies ("AMURNEFTEPRODUCT" OJSC, "PROMORNEFTEPRODUCT" OJSC, and "KHABAROVSKNEFTEPRODUCT" OJSC) and the oil refinery (Khabarovsk Oil Refinery) from abusing their position on the markets of oil products wholesale selling, oil products storage, and oil refining, and to create equal conditions for independent companies, FAS Russia issued a determination to "WEST SIBERIAN RESOURCES LIMITED", forbidding the actions that can lead to competition restriction.

FAS Russia also granted the petitions of the "Alliance Group" OJSC and the "Alliance Capital Investment Company" CJSC on purchasing the rights that allow to define the terms of entrepreneurial activities undertaken by "Pechora Exploration" Ltd., "ANZP" Ltd., "SANEKO" CJSC, "NORTOIL" CJSC, "Khvoinoye" Ltd., "West Siberian Resources Invest" Ltd., "Nickol" Ltd., "Vostochnaya Transnational Company" OJSC, "Nenetsko-Belorussian Oil Company" Ltd.
