OREANDA-NEWS. February 21, 2008. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov met today with a delegation from Stroytransgaz headed by company President Victor Lorents. Participants exchanged views on the development of business relations between the two countries.

During their visit to Turkmenistan, representatives of the Russian construction company held negotiations with Tachberdy Tagiev, deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and with Yagshygeldy Kakaev, chairman of the state-owned concern Turkmengaz. They discussed future mutually beneficial cooperation and realization of promising projects, including the Prikaspiiskyi gas pipeline.

The Stroytransgaz delegation also took part in official ceremonies to mark the Day of the State Flag of Turkmenistan and the first anniversary of the inauguration of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.
