Ukrsotsbank Plans to Increase Its Share of Net Assets
OREANDA-NEWS. February 19, 2008. As was informed by the Bank’s press service with reference to Ukrsotsbank Chairman of the board, Borys Tymonkin.
Ukrsotsbank plans to increase its share of net assets to 8% by 2011. According to Ukrsotsbank Chairman of the board, Borys Tymonkin, in the banking system of Ukraine UniCredit Group is represented by Ukrsotsbank and UniCredit Bank. The share of these structures on net assets makes 6,2%, and will grow to 8% by 2011.
"Two banks organically complement each other. Their merger would improve its client base, make it more extensive - Borys Tymonkin said. - Ukrsotsbank traditionally has strong positions in serving clients of large corporations and SME. Plus the Bank has strong retail. It should be mentioned that we are working comparatively recently on public services market, and begun to develop this activity only since 2001".
