OREANDA-NEWS. On February 21-22, Belarus’ parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Sergei Zabolotets will take part in the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna.

Attending the session are supposed to be 240 parliamentarians from 49 OSCE member states. Sittings of the Permanent Committee of the OSCE PA and also the committees for political issues and security, economic issues, science, technologies and environment, democracy, human rights and humanitarian problems will be held within the framework of the winter session.

The situation in Kosovo will be high on session’s agenda. Participants of the session will also discuss the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe and on Anti-Missile Defense.

During the work of the OSCE PA, the Belarusian delegation intends to hold bilateral sessions with parliamentarians of some foreign countries and the leadership of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
