OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2008. In January 2008, Mozyr Oil Refinery processed 976 thousand tonnes of oil, 28.5% up over the same period last year.

The production grew by 20.1% in comparable prices. Petrol production went up by 11.7%, diesel – 12.6%, mazut – 14.2%.

In February the company is expected to refine not less than 913 thousand tonnes of oil, of them 415 thousand tonnes are destined for indigenous processing. Nearly 70% of oil is transported via oil pipelines, the rest goes by railway.

In 2008, Mozyr Oil Refinery plans to increase the output by 8.8% from the previous year; the profitability of sold products is projected at 5.1%.

Mozyr Oil Refinery was commissioned in 1975; reformed into a joint stock company in 1994. The state has a 42.7% stake in the company, NGK Slavneft - 42.6%, other shareholders - 14.7%. The company makes part of the Belneftekhim concern.
