OREANDA-NEWS. On February 15, 2008 IBA attended the second European ISV Convention that was held in Frankfurt, Germany, reported the press-centre of IBA.

Organized by IT Europa, the event brought together directors of Europe’s top Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) from 13 countries. The delegates were able to share knowledge with their peers, familiarize themselves with the latest trends in the application software market, and address the most pressing issues in the industry.

In addition to keynote presentations, panel discussions and one-to-one meetings, the program of the ISV Convention included the European IT Excellence Awards. The contest recognized best practices among Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Solution Value-Added Resellers (VARs) and Systems Integrators, as well as Suppliers.

IBA contested as an ISV and a Solution Provider. Of the three IBA projects earmarked for the contest, two were judged as finalists. As a result, IBA was selected in the following ISV categories:
Enterprise Application for the solution for Belarusian Railway

Information Management for the solution for IBM Deutschland GmbH
and in the following Solution Provider category:
Enterprise for the solution for Belarusian Railway
