Domodedovo Airport Celebrates Cooperation with Austrian Airlines
OREANDA-NEWS. 19 February 2008 is the first anniversary of cooperation between Moscow Domodedovo International Airport and Austrian Airlines.
Austrian Airlines, a Star Alliance member, holds leading positions in the Eastern European air transport market.
Currently, Austrian Airlines operates 18 flights per week on Vienna-Moscow (Domodedovo)-Vienna route. Furthermore, each year, the airline adds Innsbruck-Moscow (Domodedovo)-Innsbruck service to its winter schedule.
“The Russian market and Moscow in particular have always been and will be regarded as the destination of strategic importance to our company’s development. Having benefited from the wide range of services offered by Domodedovo airport we could develop a brand new product, which was highly appreciated by our passengers”, said Mr. Kurt Reimann, Head of Austrian Airlines Representative Office in Russia.
