OREANDA-NEWS. February 19, 2008.  Bank Electronika and French BRED Banque Populaire (part of the banking group Banque Populaire) have concluded an agreement concerning financing of the French side of Bank Electronika’s program to credit foreign trade operations of its company-clients.

The agreement between the banks, concluding on market terms, will extend for one year. Its signing marks an important milestone in the solidification of business relations between Bank Electronika and bank BRED.

Broadening collaboration with French financial institutions is one of the priorities toward which Bank Electronika’s International Directorate is working. Collaboration with BRED began in 2007. The first letter of credit proposed by Bank Electronika and warranted by BRED was opened last October for the benefit of Electronika’s long-term client, one of the companies in the Optifood group.
