IDGC of the North-West Helps V. Novgorod to Develop Electric Systems
OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2008. The business trip of Veniamin Pinkhasik, General Director of IDGC of the North-West, to V.Novgorod has come to an end.
Final corrective amending of the draft agreement between powermen and administration of the Novgorod area for development of the grid complex of the region will be made till 20 February 2008.
This information was received from General Director of Interregional Distributive Grid Company of the North-West, Joint-Stock Company Veniamin Pinkhasik during the meeting with the Governor of the Novgorod area Sergey Mitin.
The Agreement for interaction of the Administration of the Novgorod area and JSC UES FGC, JSC IDGC of the North-West, JSC Novgorodenergo contains prime actions which will allow to raise reliability of electricity supply and to provide connection of new consumers to the electric networks for the period 2008 - 2011.
Veniamin Pinkhasik has presented IDGC of the North-West Company to the Head of the region and in brief told about its activity. The parties have discussed specific actions which could contribute to development of power of the area and attraction of investors.
'In order to involve investors, it is necessary to establish certain game rules. It is very important both for powermen and for the investor to know the price of kw power generated at the facility which it wishes to construct. I am very pleased that we have found full mutual understanding with the governor in this issue. We promise to provide full transparency: the investor is able to check up any ruble invested in development of grids', said head of JSC IDGC of the North-West.
'We both realize problems existing in the power sector of industry. I hope that our mutual understanding will result in actual work', V.Pinhasik commented on the results of the meeting.
In Novgorodenergo General Director of JSC IDGC of the North-West examined an inquiry system where the data on the high-voltage equipment being on the balance of the power company are entered. As a matter of fact, these are passports of the equipment translated into the electronic form. The database is planned to be supplemented with the information on defects and coordinated to the system of purchases.
Also Veniamin Pinkhasik visited the territory of Ilmenskie Electric Networks where he personally tested special equipment which now is tested in Novgorodenergo. "Uzola" caterpillar snow and swamp-going vehicle and "Trekol" cross-country vehicle are capable to move along any impassable roads. This superpassable equipment is used in remote places for inspection of transmission lines.
The similar equipment is available only in Komienergo and Novgorodenergo. If experience of its use in practice is recognized successful, cross-country vehicles are planned to be purchased for other companies of IDGC of the North-West.
