OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 February 2008 was announced, that 3,57 billion roubles were invested in OJSC TGC-9 in 2007 which is 1,92 billion more (or by 2,16 times) then in 2006.

In 2007 TGC-9 put into operation new generating facilities at Tchaikovskaya CGP-18. In the result of the investment project implementation worth 600 million roubles, working capacity of the power plant increased by 100 MW.

In 2007 OJSC-TGC drew special attention to the development of power plants in the Perm Zakamsk Power Node which suffers from power shortage and requires accelerated generation development.

The construction of foundation was completed at Permskaya CGP-13, the erection of capital equipment of GTU-16PA type has been implemented including the erection of waste heat boiler of KUV-20 type. The input of 16 MW gas turbine unit is planned for the second quarter of 2008.

In December, 2007 OJSC TGC-9 completed the first stage of the implementation of the investment project of Permskaya CGP-14 development. Permskaya CGP-14 provides power to the Kirov District of the Perm Region. An antipressure turbine of P-50 type was put into operation after reconstruction completion. P-50 turbine which was previously offloaded due to the absence of heat suppliers will work in the united cycle with T-35/55 which will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2008. The implementation of this project will increase CGP-14 capacity by 86MW.

OJSC TGC-9 also implements two projects at Permskaya CGP-6 which is situated in the center of the city of Perm and provides heat to the central districts of the city. Within the framework of the first project two new E-160 steam boilers are installed at the power plants with total capacity of 320 GCal/h. In 2007 the heat output scheme was built up, heating, sewerage, industrial water supply systems were developed. The installation of the first boiler is planned to be completed in June, 2008. Then the installation of the second boiler will be started.

The second project at Permskaya CGP-6 is one of the largest, ambitious and promising projects of OJSC TGC-9 investment program. Within the framework of this project TGC-9 plans to build a green field power plant with 120MW of installed capacity with the help of state of the art energy machinery and technologies of Siemens Company. In December, 2007 OJSC TGC-9 and Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB and LLC Siemens signed the contract of equipment supply to Permskaya CGP-6. New generating facilities start up in June, 2010. Thus OJSC TGC-9 will increase generating capacity of the Perm Zakamsk Power Node by 220mW due to the current projects, that will allow to lower the power shortage twofold. OJSC TGC-9 also reviews possibility to increase Permskaya CGP-9 capacity by 150 MW.

A lot of work was implemented by OJSC TGC-9 in Bereznyaki town (the Perm region). The investment program of 2007 was increased by TGC-9 from 2,84 billion roubles to 3,57 billion roubles to implement works in Bereznyaki. New heat pipeline was constructed. The heat load was transferred from Bereznyakovskaya CGP-10 to CGP-4 in order to avoid a threat of ground flash as a technogenic accident occurred at OJSC Uralkaliy mine and to provide uninterrupted heat supply to the heat consumers in the city. A boiler unit, reverse pump plant were constructed and a steam boiler was reconstructed at CGP-4. A gas pipeline and other Bereznyakovskaya CGP-10 facilities which were on the site of railway road construction were dismantled and transferred.

Also in 2007 OJSC TGC-9 put into operation more then 8,4 kilometers of reconstructed heat networks, started the projects of Nizhneturinskaya GRES (State District Power plant) and Novo-Sverdlovskaya GCP development. At present a rationale for investments and feasibility studies are implemented.

In 2008 OJSC TGC-9 plans to start implementing construction projects at NovoBogoslovskaya and NovoBereznikovskaya CGPs, development projects at Nizhneturinskaya GRES, Pervouralskaya and Novo-Sverdlovskaya GCPs. The company plans to provide power to newly constructed residential districts in Perm and Ekaterinburg.
