OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 February 2008 was announced, that the volume of the main products produced in 2007 amounted to 758.7 thousand tons (101.1% in relation to 2006) including mineral fertilizers – 565.6 thousand tons (102% compared to the previous year), defluorinated phosphate (DFP) – 193.1 thousand tons (98.7% of the amount of the previous year).

The composition of the general nomenclature of fertilizers the amount of produced ammophos – 548.3 thousand tons which overpasses the previous year level by 23.5%. Increase in production volumes of ammophos was provided for by the production program of 2007 which is in its turn conditioned by orientation towards improvement of the financial result and favorable situation in the market of phosphate fertilizers.

 Production of sulfuric acid for internal technological needs amounted to 689.3 thousand tons (98.4% in relation to the previous year); deviation downwards from the production program was evoked by several reasons: non-delivery of apatite in the first quarter, delay in delivery of sulfur in the fourth quarter and failures in operation of equipment.

The volume of extraction phosphoric acid produced for internal technological needs (100% Р2О5) amounted to 320.7 thousand tons and exceeded the volumes of the similar period of the last year by 35 thousand tons (8.5%). This permitted to produce mineral fertilizers which are more concentrated in terms of Р2О5 content.
