OREANDA-NEWS. On February 12, 2008 V. N. Bugaenko, Head of the Federal Communication Agency noted social importance of Russian Post as public service operator in his speech at the Enlarged Session of the Collegium of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the RF, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.

"Postmen are the only people who visit Russian families everyday and render different services. It means that post implements not only social function, but political function", he emphasized at the opening the Section "Postal service" in FSUE Russian Pоst.

Having noted the enterprise’s volume growth and enlargement of public services, V. N. Bugaenko marked service quality improvement as one of top goals for the near future.
