OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 February 2008 was announced, that on March 3 2008 Sokolniki Exhibition Centre will welcome the 7th International specialized exhibition of cables, wires and accessories, CABEX 2008.

Wide application of cables in energetics, industry, science and information systems makes cable technology development a necessary condition   for improvement of Russian economy efficiency. Attracting both manufacturers and consumers of cable and wire products and valves, CABEX contributes to progress of Russian cable and electrotechical industries and effective international networking.

In 2008 the exhibition will be located at pavilions 3 and 4.1 and cover over 5, 800 sq. m of exhibition space. Over 170 participants from 20 countries will demonstrate their products at the exhibition. Among them are such well-known companies as: 3M Russia CJSC, ABB Moscable CJSC, Amur Cable Plant JSC, Lyudinovocable CJSC, Moscablenet Group of Companies, Podolskcable CJSC, Electrocable. Kolchughinsk Plant  JSC, Electromontazh Company JSC, Energocable Plant JCSC, Yuzhcable Plant CJSC, Tomskcable CJSC, Trade House Kamcable, Sevcable-Holding JSC, Samara Cable Company CJSC, Sibcable CJSC and many others.

This year such companies as Trade House Uncomtech LTD, KVIN LTD, ROST LTD, Grupo General Cable Sistemas, S.A. (Spain), El Sewedy Cables (Egypt), HES (Turkiye) will participate in the exhibition for the first time.

The participants of CABEX will introduce cables, wires, valves, accessories and special equipment, test means and methods, scientific research and elaborations, mounting and cabling technologies, methods and means for its repair, cables and wires in  electric motor-building and instruments testing methods.  Additional sectors of the exhibition are dedicated to certification and standardization of cabling products and problems of ecological control.

The business program of the exhibition will be dedicated to the core points of cable industry development and innovations. All-Russian Research Institute of Cable Industry JSC will hold a traditional training seminar for the manufacturers and consumers of cabling products.
