OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 February 2008 was announced, that specialists of Astarta agricultural department took part in the 6th annual Amity Technology seminar in Belgorod (Russia). The largest dealers and clients of this company were invited there. Topics under discussion covered important issues about modernization of sugar beet industry. The participants saw state-of-art novelties by Amity Technology - sowing and cultivating equipment Wil-Rich and Wishek.

Even more productive was the seminar conducted by Amity Technology especially for Astarta’s specialists at the Yareskivsky sugar plant. Production of sugar beet, maize and wheat was discussed at the seminar. There were also discussed questions about using of precision agriculture technologies in sugar beet growing, and compared efficiency of using different row spacing in crops cultivation.

Astarta’s specialists told, they had obtained necessary and useful knowledge, and as a result, all the advanced technologies discussed at the Amity Technology seminars will be implemented to prepare for the new season.
