Moldova Ranked Fifth among CIS Countries on Growth of Investments
OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2007. According to CIS Statistical Committee, in 2007, the volume of investments into the share capital of Moldova increased by 19,9%.
The first place on growth of investments into the share capital belongs to Tajikistan (103,6%). Then follows: Uzbekistan- 313%, Ukraine - 28,5% and Russia – 21,1%.
In 2007, the volume of investments into the share capital in Armenia grew by 19,7%, in Azerbaijan - by 17,8%, in Belarus - by 15,1%, in Kazakhstan – by 8,2% and in Kyrgyzstan – by 3,7 %.
There is no data on Georgia. Average growth of investments into the share capital in CIS countries increased by 20%, or 5 points more than in 2006. Average rate of growth in 2007 was stipulated by the increase of investments into the share capital in Tajikistan (+34 percent), Uzbekistan (+22,2 percentage points) and Ukraine (+9,5 pp).
In 2007, the growth of investments into the share capital decreased in: Kyrgyzstan - by 50,9 points, in Tajikistan - by 34 points, in Russia - by 7,4 points, in Kazakhstan – by 2,9 points, in Moldova - by 3,1 points, in Belarus - by 17,1 points and in Armenia - by 20,6 points, respectively.
