OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2007. According to the National bureau of statistics, in 2007, volume of export from Moldova to Romania amounted to $211,2 million or 35,8% more than in 2006.

In 2007, share of Romania in total volume of Moldavian export decreased by 0,9% - up to 15,7%. At the same time, volume of import from Romania amounted to $449,1 million, increasing by 19,6% in comparison with 2006.

In 2007, share of Romania in total amount of Moldavian import totaled 12,2%, reducing by 0,6 points. As compared to 2006, deficit of trade balance with Romania grew by 25% and made $237,9 million.
