OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 February 2008 was announced, that the territorial generating company №9 continues works on increase of reliability of a heat supply of Berezniki in connection with accident on mine Uralkalija.

Regenerative repair of a steam boiler of thermal power station-4 in Berezniki was lead within the limits of works on carry of thermal loading with Bereznikovskaya thermal power station-10, appeared in a zone of possible flash of terrestrial surface in connection with accident on mine of JSC " Uralkaly ".

The steam boiler №9 of Bereznikovskaya Thermal Power Station-4 was released in England in 1945 and worked on power station till 2001. In connection with decrease in consumption of thermal energy of thermal power station the boiler was inhibited. That thermal power station-4 in case of impossibility of continuation of high-grade work of thermal power station-10 could provide needs of Berezniki in thermal energy, ТГК-9 made a decision on restoration of a steam boiler. For 4,5 months the new steam boiler was mounted on power station: installation of a trumpet part and metalware was executed, the part of surfaces of heating was replaced, the new skeleton was executed, setting of a boiler was made, diagnosing of all elements of installation was lead. The boiler successfully passed hydraulic tests after restoration, and also working tests within 72 hours.

Works on start of a new boiler room of installation are almost finished for maintenance of a reliable heat supply of Berezniki on thermal power station-4, besides regenerative repair of a steam boiler, also the construction of heating main is finishing, which extent is 5,3 km in two-trumpet calculation which will connect power station and system of the centralized heat supply of the city.
