OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 February 2008 was announced, that at the end of January 2008 October Court of Lipetsk made a decision on demand of JSC Lipetskenergo (which is part of configuration of JSC IDGC of Center) on acknowledgement of the movable property as ownerless.

The problem of ownerless grid equipment situated on the whole territory of the Lipetsk Region is not a new one. To solve it in July 2007 the administration of the Lipetsk Region, JSC Lipetskenergo, JSC Lipetsk Power Sales Company and the Management on Technological and Ecological Control of the Lipetsk Region concluded a quadripartite agreement. For the purpose of prevention of danger to people’s life and safety in the result of accidents and for the purpose of provision of a high-quality power supply of consumers it was decided to transfer ownerless equipment to the property of JSC Lipetskenergo. However, before acceptance of ownerless grids on the balance it is necessary to prove in court that the specified equipment is ownerless.

The said legal proceedings became a precedent in solution of the problem of ownerless grids. In the result of the hearing on the given civil case it was decided to transfer to the property of JSC Lipetskenergo 2 transformer stations and some kilometers of overhead transmission lines (OL -0.4 kV) situated in Iliinsky village of the Dolgorukovsky district.
