OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2008. A representative delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by Minister of Energy and Industry, Co-Chairman of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Tajik commission for trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural co-operation Sherali Gul arrived in Ashgabat.

The Tajik delegation visits Turkmenistan to participate in the first meeting of the commission called upon to be an effective instrument of enhancing and expanding interstate interaction.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is expected to receive the head of the governmental delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
