OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2007. In January of 2008 total volume of transactions made in all sectors of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) had reached the equivalent of $20,534.7 m. or KZT2,471.8 bn., reported the press-centre of KASE.

Compared to corresponding period of year 2007 (January) volume of operations decreased by 12,1% in dollar and by 15,9% in tenge equivalent.

Relative to previous month - December 2007 - the exchange turnover decreased by 19,5% in dollar and by 20,0% in tenge expression.
