In 2007 “Tulachermet” public corporation invested in realization of nature-conservative measures and introduction of low-wasted technologies more than 163 million roubles. The most part of these assets is spent on the erection of objects of environmental purpose, being a part of the complex of the first-class thorough repairs of the blast-furnace №1, which is planned to be carried out in 2009. So at the initial stage of building and reconstruction of the water rotation cycle of gas purifications at the blast-furnace-1 there were spent 63 million roubles. For the mounting of foundations of electrostatic cleaners of the aspiration systems of the cast house and of the bin trestle of the furnace, which construction at the enterprise is already in progress, there were spent 9 million roubles. In 2007 as compared to 2006 atmospheric injection of contaminants decreased almost for 500 tons, this became available because of the more effective use of aspiration systems. In 2007 215 thousand tons of sludge was returned to the production. 42 million roubles were spent on its recycling. The volume of recycling of waste, which was produced during the year, under the complete recycling of the blast-furnace slag and the same salvaging of the agloblast-furnace sludge made up 99,8 percent.
