OREANDA-NEWS. On February 08, 2007 workshop on “Securitization” topic was carried out for the local banks and brokerage companies under the joint organization of Baku Stock Exchange and “Deloitte” company, reported the press-centre of BSE.

The workshop also attended by the representatives of some insurance companies had the participation of the representatives of about 40 participants of the local financial market. The workshop was conducted by the specialist of the “Deloitte” Moscow office.

During the workshop the attendees were given detailed information about the experience of securitization in the Russian banking system as well as the theory and practice of this process. The topic provoked great interest of the audience what produced a lot of questions to the presenter of the workshop.

Generally, the workshop passed succesfuly. It should be noted that Baku Stock Exchange and “Deloitte” are efficiently cooperating on the sphere of organization and holding of joint events. This workshop is the second joint event after the 1st IPO conference in Azerbaijan held on November 1st of the last year.
