OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2007. Russian Post will deliver over 17,5 million personal congratulations of the President of the Russian Federation to the participants of fascist defeat in Stalingrad battle on the eve of its 65th anniversary celebrated on February 3, 2008. Veterans participated in this battle live in different parts of the country. All of them even living in the remotest and difficult-to-access settlements get letters duly thanks to wide territorial network of Russian Post, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.

The letters are collected and delivered in person as governmental mails. If necessary, post finds out new address of veterans.

The letter consists of art envelope with personal congratulation signed by the President.

The same program was held in December 2006. It was dedicated to 65th anniversary of fascist defeat near Moscow. Post sent letters to the veterans awarded medals "For defence of Moscow".
