Every Second Tellurian Is a Mobile Subscriber
OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2008. According to the International Telecommunication Union, the number of subscribers will exceed the threshold of 50% of the world population early in 2008, and it is expected to reach over 3.3 billion by the end of the year. On the one hand, this is an ocean of boundless opportunities for operators; on the other hand, these are continents of challenges, among which the decrease in the share of voice services in ARPU and high subscriber requirements for new services.
The Mobile World Congress 2008 starts in Barcelona, where leading players of the industry offer solutions for these problems as well.
As an associate member of the GSM Association and a participant of the world telecommunication community, Bercut Ltd. takes part in this event. At its booth, the company presents the solutions that allow increasing ARPU and surprising subscribers with original services. One of them is X-tones (Managing Ring Back Tones), which is being used by more than 70 million subscribers in 8 countries. X-tones provides the basis for implementing the unique services, which can surprise even the most exigent subscribers, and enables launching new services, for example, Video RBT, as operators migrate to the 3G networks, which exerts positive influence on ARPU.
We invite you to attend Bercut stand – hall 2, level 1, stand 2А70, where the company’s products will be presented including X-tones, CareM®, i-Cell®, SPACE, Voice Message Exchange Service.
