OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2008. The President of the Bank of Moscow, the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) of the Central Federal District Andrey Borodin took part in the meeting of the Federal Council of the RSPP. The meeting was also attended by the heads of the latter together with its President Alexandre Shokhin, representatives of the regional branches of the Union, a delegation of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by the Chairman of its Board of Directors - the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Yevgeny Primakov.

For the first time the agenda of a meeting of the Federal Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs included the issue of examination of work experience of coordination councils of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the federal districts. In his speech focusing on the work of the Coordination Council of the RSSP of the Central Federal District Andrey Borodin noted that in 2007 a series of organizational rearrangements in the structure of work of the Council which allowed it to become an effectively operating organization with its own administrative framework as well as “strengthen the collaboration with the regional authorities and the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District”. Thanks to that it became possible to include not only current topical issues but also strategic points concerning the development and growth of business in the district onto the agenda of meeting of the coordination council.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Central Federal District talked about the achievements of the Council. One important event was the conclusion of a new Trilateral Agreement for the years 20 08-2010 between the executive authorities, the trade unions and the entrepreneurs of the Central Federal District. - Among the guidelines laid out by the new District Trilateral agreement is achieving by 2010 an average salary at least four times exceeding the minimum subsistence level, - says Andrey Borodin.

Following the talk delivered by Andrey Borodin, the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexandre Shokhin suggested introducing the practice of the heads of the Coordination Councils reporting at the meetings of the Federal Councils of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
