KAZAKHMYS Finished First Stage of Pre-Export Financial Credit
OREANDA-NEWS. On February 06, 2007 Company KAZAKHMYS PLC, common shares of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's category "A" official list, provided KASE with press-release, in which the following is informed, reported the press-centre of KASE:
Group Kazakhmys PLC announces about borrowing of pre-export financial credit in size of $2,1 bn. for application in general corporate goals, including with aim of announced today purchasing of Ekibastuz HPS. First stage of borrowing of 5 years' credit under management of Deutsche Bank was finished with significant increase of signing for credit' provision from the side of wide number of banks. The given credit line is subjected to final registration in form of juridical documentation.
The main authorized organizers of credit line are ABN AMRO Bank, Barclays Bank, BNP Paribas, CALYON, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Bank, ING Bank, Natixis, Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, The Bank of
Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and WestLB.
Currently the given credit line had entered the second stage, on which is happening the syndication of limited group of banks, which in future will participate in crediting, having signed the corresponding documents in February 2008. Further details will be published in proper order.
