OREANDA-NEWS. On 7 February 2008 was announced, that “Sibirtelecom” OJSC changed tariffs for local telephone communication. Pursuant to the decision of the Federal tariff service (FST of Russia)*, the Company reduced the tariff for local twin telephone connection for individuals at the “Unlimited” tariff plan by 26% (from 143 rub. to 105.5 rub.).

However, the tariff for individuals in the “Unlimited” tariff plan for a single-subscriber line will remain the same – 325 rub. (including 200 rub. – payment for unlimited local telephone connections, 125 rub. – payment for the subscriber line provided for permanent use**). It should be emphasized that the tariff for the “Unlimited” tariff plan, set by “Sibirtelecom” before (200 rubles) was lower than the maximum level approved by FST of Russia. In this connection, the Company left it unchanged.

“Sibirtelecom” also introduces a new tariff plan for organizations – “Combined”. Some time earlier, subscribers that are legal entities had an opportunity to choose between two tariff plans – “Time pay” and “Unlimited”.

In some Siberian regions the Company reduced tariffs for access to the local telephone network for both individuals and legal entities.
