OREANDA-NEWS. On February 07, 2007 Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn met Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Mutsuo Mabuchi to discuss prospects of bipartite relations, the Economy Ministry's press service told.

The parties agreed to draft long-standing economic projects.

Danylyshyn and Mabuchi discussed cooperation between the coordination council on economic cooperation with Japan and the Ukraine-Japan committee of business cooperation and some point of common interest.

Ukraine exported commodities at 80,316,900 USD and imported from Japan commodities at 1,249,248,800 USD.
