OREANDA-NEWS. On February 07, 2007 the Austrian Alpine BAU GmbH has won a tender to construct a stadium in Lviv ahead of the Euro 2012, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

According to director on the Euro 2012 in Lviv Oleh Zasadnyi, the competition saw participation of the Austrian Alpine BAU GmbH and Swiss Implenia Global Solution Ltd.

The winner will construct a stadium in Lviv.

Lviv demands form the Alpine BAU GmbH to draft the project by June 1, 2008 and construct the stadium by June 1, 2010.

The stadium should meet the UEFA requirements. The investor should also build a parking lot for 1,200 cars a three star hotel and sports arena.

Ukraine and Poland won a tender to hold the EURO 2012.

Matches will be played in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kharkiv.
